Cecropia Zine

Cecropia is a zine project inspired by the Hyalophora cecropia caterpillar. The process began with selecting and photographing the insect, then tracing the image to create a simplified, flat graphic form that was converted into a digital vector object. This vector became the foundation for the zine, as each page was designed by zooming in on specific details of the creature to highlight texture, pattern, and form. Through this approach, the project examines the creation of a simplified graphics for complex images.
