This project explored experimental typographic composition through the arrangement of my initials, “MMG.” I created 50 unique compositions by manipulating the letterforms using a range of methods, including digital techniques, layering with tracing paper, and distortion through the copying machine. These process-driven explorations focused on repetition, scale, rotation, and spatial relationships to transform simple letterforms into dynamic visuals. From this body of work, six compositions were selected and further refined with color to enhance form, hierarchy, and visual impact, emphasizing the value of iteration and material experimentation in the design process.
